Volkswagen has new Brand Ambassador, Alex Morgan, the popular woman soccer player. Lets know about her bit in detail.The complete name of Alex Morgan is Alexandra Patricia Morgan Carrasco. She is Olympic Gold Medalist and FIFA Women's World Cup Champion. She co-captains her national team alongside Carli Lloyd and Megan Rapinoe.
Apart from star player in the American Soccer team, pink head band on hear head during soccer match has her another identity. It’s the same headband that made an appearance in the 2011 World Cup, 2012 Olympic Game, 2015 World Cup and 2016 Olympic Games. There is a special reason behind this. According to sources, when she was dating Servando Carrasco in 2006, Carrasco's mother was diagnosed with third stage breast cancer. To show support, she started to wear the pink bank in every match to raise awareness. Soon, Carrasco's mother won battle against cancer but she continued to wear in every match.
At 2012 London Olympics she scored the match winning goal in the 123rd minute of the semi-final match against Canada. She scored 28 goals and 21 assists. She was named U.S. Soccer Female Athlete of the Year and was a FIFA World Player of the Year finalist.
In 2013, she joined Portland Thorns and they won the title. In 2015, she again played for Portland Thorns and traded her to Orlando Pride.
Popular Time Magazine ranked Morgan as top paid Women's soccer player in 2015 because of the large endorsement deals.
Apart from Soccer Game, she has acted in movie titled 'Alex & Me' released in June 2018. She played the role of fictionalised version of herself.
With the new title brand Ambassador of Volkswagen, she is going to inspire a whole new generation of Soccer Player.
